All of our camps will follow the guidelines given at that time by the Government and England Hockey with regards to Covid-19.

MT13 have been running residential camps since 2010 across a number of locations in the UK. The Residential Camps allow players to assimilate learning alongside relaxing, recovering and having fun during the downtime in the evening with our organised activity.

This years camp will be delivered at the state-of-the-art facilities on offer at Repton School. In recent years the school reopened its world class sporting facilities after a £10m upgrade. As the leading co-educational hockey school in the UK, hockey was a key focus in the re-development and the facilities now include; a blue Olympic-standard Water based pitch, an Indoor facility in which England Hockey choose to host the National Premier League as well as a fixed video system and analysis room overlooking the pitches.

With a coach to player ratio of 1:8, these camps will focus on developing Technical Skill, Tactical Understanding as well as enhancing Physical Capability. On top of the 3 core components mentioned above we will allocate time to look at Psychological Development, such a crucial facet of growth for junior players.

Technical Skill and Tactical Understanding will be developed through both indoor and outdoor sessions delivered in individual and team context. Players will also experience atleast one 11 a side game play each day. Selected tactical scenarios from each games will be used for performance analysis.

In addition to the above players will have access to an interactive workshop during the camp:

  • ‘My Life as an International Hockey Player’: An in-depth presentation from one of GBs Top International Players.
